Part of our commitment to holistic food system change is to engage the community of food growers and eaters. We do this through our Grower Partner and Citizen Scientist programs. Together, we are developing the capacity to empower all growers globally to improve their practices in harmony with nature and provide eaters with the transparency they deserve.

Grower Partner
Grower partners are collaborators who provide the foundational information needed to understand the links between nutrient density in food, soil health and management practices. We’ve refreshed our Grower Partner program for 2022. Read on to learn more.
Citizen Scientist
Anyone who wants to be involved, doesn’t have to be a farmer or gardener-can apply to be a Cit SCI. It’s as simple as documenting where you purchased the samples, identifying the labels and certifications, and sending them to our lab. We welcome community leaders, movement builders, foodies and anyone else who understands food and agriculture as an opportunity to make the world a better place.
Submit samples from your local grocery store, big box store, farmers market, CSA, bodega or other place of purchase. You will need to document where you purchased and any identifying factors in its labeling or marketing and send in three samples of the crop in question. This totals one complete sample.
Organizational Partner
Organizational partners are the mycelia that facilitate the expansion of our work that builds a foundation for systemic change. Organizational partners may represent a company seeking to understand and improve their ingredients or a nonprofit working to educate their members on better practices that create nutrient dense crops.
